Grease on throttle bell crank bushings?
Should I put grease on the plastic throttle bell crank bushings that are on the transmission? Seems like that would cause grit and dirt to adhere, abrading them.
I was thinking of putting Moly powder on them instead (Mb is essentially a super graphite dry lube). Thoughts? |

the dry lube is good thinking but it don't matter.. every 50k miles you May have to replace them.

I have used NeverSeize for over 20 years on mine. Has never picked up dirt or grit, never corroded or dried out, and has never bound or stuck since the first application.

DO you think wet roads would degrade the lubricating ability of the Mb powder? I don't use the 911 that much in the winter (2x to 4x each month at a min.) but the roads are always wet up here for 6 months/yr.
So if it needs grease, let me know. |
