Doubt 'flaring' up

The problem with a paint job is that it forces you to make decisions that you've got to live with until you need your next paint job.

Now, I love Black Beauty, no matter what. But Mikez's pictures from Dunkel's included this Black Beauty twin with Turbo flares.



One day, whether I suffer the poor fortune of scraping into a wall at Laguna Seca, or the good fortune of letting the paint job live out its full lifespan, I think I'd like to go to the wider flares.

Don't mean to whine, but that's a gorgeous car!

Wow. That is kind of creepy.

Yes, I totaled the car at Laguna -- and went to big flares in the aftermath.

In fiction, I'd say that kind of coincidence would be much too 'on the nose.'
