Windows slow and front vibration

When I recently test drove the car I am purchasing, the windows went down and up rather slow. I don't think this is normal speed. Does this indicate the motors are going or what? I find it odd both are failing at the same time.

As when I got to 40 mph there was a small vibration on the drive. The seller said the front tires need to be balanced, which sounds true...and the front tires are running a little low on tread. Any opinions on this?

Thanks,

Ed

Window motors might be OK. Most likely you'll need to remove the window assemblies, then clean and lube everything back up. It makes a world of difference.

As far as the vibrations goes, the tires could definitely cause that. The only way to be sure is to have it checked out. Again, probably a non-issue.
