guy "does that have a V8 conversion?" me "ummmmm no it's the 3.2" guy "your exhaust sounded like it was" me "newwwww that'd be sacrelige........" guy "have a nice day" he was serious..........i really don't think my 911 sounds like a V8........ this was the funniest thing that has happened to me this past week

Hihihihi...this found it's way to Mattias garage today for some bodywork:
It's a 912 with chevy lump We haven't tested it yet (electricals were shot so it couldn't start) but I bet it's pretty funny as long as road is straight... It's pretty rusted up, unfortunately. Nothing a MIG and few square feet of sheet if metal wouldn't fix... ![]() Ohh, this metal is superfluous: ![]() Very funny!

Well I finally met bell today at Stoddard. His car does have the pitch of a V8 but not the "note" if you know what I mean. Of course I'm the kind of guy who can tell a smallblock Ford from a smallblock Chevy just by the sound. bells car sound more like a big inch flat six!
BTW I liked when you got on it a bit as you were leaving, I even saw a few heads turn to see what the noise was.

BTW anyone else notice something strange about the rear of that 912, hint look at the bumper and tailights. Weird?

It's even worse than that, they cut away the sheet metal where the taillights usually go. Yuck

The tail light treatment is vintage KREMER.
Take a look at some of there 935 street cars from the 70's and 80's. Very cool look for the times. BTW, I spotted the blond a second after the tail lights

I think that´s a KOENIG rear spoiler, it will be removed in favor of a 993GT2 EVO kit.
It´s the owner´s words not my, I´m only a simple mechanic
