82SC factory option M06 included what?
I was able to use the on-line option decoder for all options except M06. From my research, I think it's an option package. Anyone know whats in it and how much $ the upgrade was?
Thanks! Patrick |

Found it was an $2250 option, but no option details. Anyone with details?

You might try calling PCNA - they should be able to help you. If you give them the VIN, they will verbally tell you how the car was built as it left the factory.

I tried calling PCNA. They said they couldn't locate records due to age. However, for $95 those record could suddenly materialize.... bahhhh.

When I bought my car, back in 2001, you could call up Porsche North America and they would tell you the Kardex data over the phone for free. For my car, it was a very incomplete list. Not even covering major options like the full leather interior.

PCNA couldn't tell me anything about my car, except that it had a black headliner (gee, really?). They didn't even have the color code.
Does anyone know if the actual Kardex would have more data, or would it just be what they give over the phone typed up on a $95 piece of paper? |

I saw it on a post here recently (cant find it again). Someone ran down their original options list with prices. I called 1-800-porsche originally (thats how I found all the options it shipped with) but the records were spotty and he didnt know anything more than the option numbers. |

I have the window sticker for my 81 targa. It lists and option group J16 for $2535 but doesn't tell what that includes.
BTW Metalic Paint ($645), Leather seats($950), 88AmpHr. battery($50), auto antenna($195), and alarm system($200) are all listed separately. I can list the std items if you are interested. Let me know. Carl
