Why you need a PPI

Well, looks like I won't be getting the C4 after all...in fact, I believe my 911 SC is stalking me and secretly ruining any chance of me of replacing her...

I first tried to order a GMC Canyon Crew Cab and to make a long story short, had to cancel the order b/c of screw ups, etc.

then I thought, hey I could get a C4 and drive it all year long (instead of the 60-90 days a year)

well I found a car and negotiated a price and scheduled the PPI...

the cylinder head leaking issue is major...which means rebuild...

the dual mass flywheel is bad...

the front differential is leaking bad...

the camshaft is leaking...

the power steering shaft pump is leaking...

rotors are bad...

car is too low and cutting a tire...

A/C doesn't work...

I think you get the picture...

I'm out $73.44 for an hours labor...

Dan at Stuggart Motors Inc. is terrific and just saved me a ton...and he doesn't even work for Geico...

if it's driven this way much longer it'll be for sale as a roller...

the owner is a nice guy, I feel his pain on this...

...so I'll continue to drive my lovely 911SC and "maybe" look for another C4 coupe...or I may look for another 4WD truck/suburban...one thing is for sure though, I'll be driving a car I love...so I got that going for me...which is nice...

Just wondering, did the guy have reciepts for any work that has been done to the car or did he pretty much just drive it. How many miles are on the clock? thanks

$275 is alot better than ending up with a money pit/headache. my buddy paid for six PPI's before buying his car.

there is 100k on the clock...it's been DE'd alot, from what I understand probably driven very hard...the work that has been done on it is mostly from suspension work, chip, etc. the only way I touch this C4 is if I buy it for $10,000...it's not worth more than that b/c it needs another $10,000 to make it road worthy...
