found neat book under my seat.

just finally going through all the reciepts, booklets, junk that came with my SC purchase. beside finding a bunch of product registration junk, i found a very good copy of the technical specifications. that tiny little pocket book, on everything SC (1978 - 81). just remember wayne mentioning it in his book reference chapter of 101 proj. alot of info crammed in such a small package!

That's a good sign, Cliff ... some owner in its' past really cared about it! Found a spec book in my right door pocket after I bought my car, too!

I found a small vial containing white powdery residue stashed up under the dash. I bought that car at the tail end of the eighties. Snuff said.

Jeez, I checked and there's nothing there under the driver's seat but a metal box looking like some WWII CD player with some cables sticking out of it, so there's no way to stash anything away there...could I just cut the wires loose and thrash that box? It'd be just one more lightening excercise for my (heavy) G50 Carrera...

I am not sure, but I do know that you should disconnect your battery first just incase.

PS: All I got was dog hair, most likely the dog was dead by then.

I didn't find a tool roll, lugwrench, alarm key, master key, (had what turned out to be the valet key) jack or spare tire compressor. Didn't know they were supposed to be there, didn't know about this board or a PPI back then.

i found the "missing" front blue and yellow original plate under the front seat that the previous owner (2nd owner) thought was gone. why do i mention this? because the dumb a$$ got new white reflective plates in 2000, loosing the oppertunity to keep the production era blue plates in place for ever.

that there got me hotter than a mexicans lunch!

toby fernandez <---- notice hispanic sir name, so no racism here.
