Show Your Wheels Off??????????

Hey all, Since the market is soft in the 911/930 world I guess im going to keep my 88 930, So im going to put some after market wheels on the old girl, thinking about going with 18" wheels? I would love to see 17" and 18" wheels\tires that you guys have on your cars to make my decision easier.

IMHO 18s are too big for pre 89 cars. What about some 17" custom fuchs like Jacks!! OR the 17" Fikses' look good. Sorry no pics.

Oh - the RUF wheels look awesome!! I hear they are heavy though. And possibly hard to find now - I dont think they make them any more.

Scooter,

Your car looks terrific. One of the best looking 930s I've seen.

why only recommended for turbo`s? is it the weight? or width? offsets? l think anything over 17 on earlier cars requires serious consideration to the mods needed to get any performance gain.Unless they`re lighter then a smaller set up the unsprung weight increase will only slow you down. They do look great though

IMO, it's hard to beat the look of Fuchs, even in 17 inches.

On a Turbo:

And on a widebody 911:

Question about the RUF wheels---The RUF wheels on the white car above posted by "Decolliber"---aren't these wheels for 964?
The RUF's posted by DP935 and jmarenas are the ones i always associated w/ pre-964 cars.

What's the going rate (if found) for a set of RUF 17x8,9? Like jmarenas'.

thanks
mike

Anybody out there with Photoshop willing to modify the FM-10s in Dean's picture, above? My car is the same combination and I'd like to see the FM-10s with the polished rims and grey finished "mesh" and centers like Kinesis offers. Maybe Fikse does, too.

Thanks in advance.
