Cool Oil Cooler fittings and Parts

Replacing my current fender cooler with a front valance mounted cooler. Can anyone tell me what adapters I need to connect AN-12 lines from the new cooler to the existing hard lines at the stock cooler? Is there a metric to AN-12 adapter out there. If so, what size do I need (metric)?

It is an 85-930. Thanks, Randy

You will likely need to buy the hose ends and hose and make up the lines that you need, lots of sources for that. Maybe try these guys

If you are willing to use Aeroquip Socketless -12 hose, check this thread:

RSR bumper and Center cooler done! Many pictures inside

You use a short Carrera Cooler hose, pull the fittings off, then slip socketless over the nipple of the fittings. You are left with a run of -12 hose with the metric end.

I've been running it for 8 months now, and it's working great. The conversion from metric to AN using the Carrera cooler hose costs <$25. Original credit I think goes to Warren. You can search on his name for his original post.

You could also probably braze the end onto a "real" Aeroquip -12 fitting, though the socketless is rated for this pressure and temp, and has held up fine.
