Torsion bar spline counts, need help
Anybody know the spline count for 914-4 control arms? I know they have a different count than 911 and 914-6.
I'm sure there was a reason for this, I just can't imagine what it is.

Twenty-nine. Maybe for the same reason as the 17mm master cylinder? Only Porsche knows for sure.

You know, the bars off of a '74 911S front end I bought, (and I'm assuming it was marked correctly, it had alloy calipers) measure only .88 mm thicker than the '74 914 bars, why didn't they just...
