I would second the idea of Baldy or similar. I prefer to keep the banzai runs for the track but a "spirited" drive up the mountain (or any non-residential mountain/canyon) sounds like a winner.

I am in North OC and the San Gabriel Mountains are well within a reasonable distance in my opinion.

Any others?

PCH sucks for a "Run", you need twisties that you bang on a bit. I'd love to do the Baldy run, but the 10th & 11th are out for me.

Wayne- that site doesn't work for me either, it was the first thing I tried.

I'm in for whatever it is that is decided upon. The parade up PCH would be cool, but a mountain road would be more fun.

7/10 in the a.m. works for me too.

My p-car isn't venturing far from Malibu without its trailer, however. If another route is chosen then I could always try to keep up in the Audi. (It's a fat wallowing pig but 340ft-lbs of biturbo torque and AWD works wonders.)

Ok, the poll is posted, this will help us decide which is the better path to take as both are decent choices.
