Install this how?
Help! What's the trick to installing a replacement engine compartment soundproofing mat? Original mat deteriorated on my 88 Carrera, messy.

I think the trick is removing the engine.

You can also just loosen the rear engine bolts and the engine drops down several inches. Gives you a little more room, but obviously much easier to remove the engine. I did mine just lowering the engine and worked out OK.

I swapped mine without dropping/loosening engine. Not a big deal. That forgiving 3M spray adhesive makes the job a bit easier - you can modify the installation if necessary as you go.
