			Help! What's the trick to installing a replacement engine compartment soundproofing mat? Original mat deteriorated on my 88 Carrera, messy.

			I think the trick is removing the engine.

			You can also just loosen the rear engine bolts and the engine drops down several inches.  Gives you a little more room, but obviously much easier to remove the engine.  I did mine just lowering the engine and worked out OK.

			I swapped mine without dropping/loosening engine.  Not a big deal.  That forgiving 3M spray adhesive makes the job a bit easier - you can modify the installation if necessary as you go.
