Distiributor 231 159 007 which engine?
I have a new bosch distributor part number 0 231 159 007. I want to know which engine it was made for.

According to Bosch it was used from '69 - '71 on 2.0 and 2.2 "S" engines.

I have a 1970 914-6 and a 2001 Boxster S. The 914-6 is low mileage (30,000) but it has a manelli distributor that it's hard to get parts for, so I picked this up hoping it would work.

I wonder if there is a curve difference between the years...even with the same part #.
Anyone? Early S man?
