Porsche Crest

This is my Toy or as my wife puts it "The Money Pit"

I wouldn't have it any other way.

Thanks to you all in this Great Porsche Community I am able to drive a machine like this and I am able to maintain it as it should be.

Not right now but I'll take a few tomorrow and post them. I have the black caps as well but I think the polishied caps look better with Silver paint on the car. These are the original Fuchs, 6 and 7's and they need to be refinished, I would like to go to 7 and 8's, need to find a pair of 8x16's.

Fuch with Polished Cap

Here are a couple of close ups of the rear wheel with the polished cap. As you can see the wheels are in need of refinishing.

Bearded Viking,

I posted a few pics of my wheels with the polished center caps. I was just reading some threads on the new Rota Fox wheels in 17x7.5 and 17x9, think I need to look into a set of those, they look great

OK, I'll play along...

Here's my toy:

Took the shot last year at the Boonshoft Concours.
Not the most flattering shot, but the sun glints look cool.

Still playing...

A few more to share:

I took my son on a five day road trip in the Targa last spring. The top was down nearly the whole time. He learned to appreciate the beauty of twisty mountain roads, how to smoothly shift a 915 transmission, and he spent the weekend working on a Pro Stock VW pit crew (OK, working may be a stretch, but he was there). Given his study habits, I think that's far more than he would have learned in school that week.
