I noticed buffeting caused by my factory seat belts vibrating. This went away when I went to a harness bar using four point with breakaway technology (works like a 3 point). The chasis got noticeably stiffer going with a harness bar also.

I've driven the same road when it was less humid and there was a fairly strong side wind and it got super noisy at closer to 60-70mph. It's loud enough that you have to raise your voice to carry on a conversation, but the buffeting seems to come and go as the weather changes. As mentioned above though, its about a love for open air, so for long trips I keep some ear plugs and eye drops in the car to go with the sun screen.

Long drive along the coast today

Took the "dirty Targa" for its first long drive along the west coast of FL today, after moving here last week. My wife suggested just driving across the Sunshine Skyway bridge, somehow that turned into dinner in Longboat Key with side diversions in Bradenton and Sarasota Beach. Good times! Oh, and the car ran and drove great, and the lack of A/C was only a minor nuisance, despite the high heat and humidity.

Fog Lamps

Odd,

I never realized how predominant the front fog lights are on late 70's to 80's cars.
