964 Were my favorites - Then I spoke to my local Wrench, he convinced me otherwise (he said go with a 3.2 Carrera or a SC)

So my looooooooong term plan if I don't sell it to convert to a Wide 964.

Kind of like this

Whoah, really?? I have no use for sound insulation. I'd rather they installed sound AMPLIFICATION !!

So hey, I've got a scraper and some free time. Where did they put all this dead weight? I'm game to put the 964 on a "Sound Amplification Weight Loss Program"

I work on my C2 myself. Everything from valve adjustments to fixing HVAC electrical problems. It's not that bad.

This is my first porsche. Maybe I don't know better.

Jeremy,
That targa was gorgeous! My only regret about my RSA is that I couldn't find a midnight blue car, but I shouldn't be complaining since the car is so amazing.

btw, Janus, yeah, my boss built the Can-Am 965 "Spot" and I think when they built it they actually weighed the insulation and there is like 300 or 400 lbs of it in the car. a lot was around the engine which the RSA doesn't have, theres more on the floors, I think the door panels too. I haven't really removed any of mine yet.

I love my '87, but if I win tommorow nights Lottery, I think I have found my new track car, one of the SD locals has a Carrera Cup car and it is truly impressive! Wish it was mine.

not the actual car, but you get the idea

Here is mine, yes I know it needs to be lowered. I have to make time to get the springs installed.

I think anywhere from the low to mid 30s and up. There is an earlier 3.3 and a later 3.6 liter version. The latter being more desirable. That price range is normally aspirated 993 territory. I sure would take a turbo 964 over a n/a 993 any day!

No Ugly Duckling

My son has spend the best part of £15k on his 965 over the last 4 years and it shows. Regretably he is now selling it to fund a LHD car for when he moves to Europe from the UK. If you have £30k to spare it is available in the south of England. Couple more pics to drool over.

LOL

While I now own my dream car, a 993 TT, I love the shape of the 964. IMHO, it is the best of the classic 911 silhouette.
