It will be nice to have all our cars running hard and bearly street legal! TO EVIL!

The Chef 07-09-2004 09:01 PM

Jeremy, You better get your act together and start putting that car together. You have 99% of your project and havent even started working on. You do have a lunch hour dont you! Get it together man!

Joseph, Great Project! From whom did you buy the Duck Tail, and how much was it? There seems to be a lot of variation in price out there and I would appreciate your advice as to which way to turn. Thanks, Bob Wood

I bought it here on the board thru a group buy. We all paid 319.00. The company that makes it is MA Shaw. Its an awsome piece but like most fiberglass it required a little sanding on the upper corners.

Geez Joe, do you really think I will be motivated by public humiliation! Damn it, you're right! I don't get a lunch break (you've seen how we have lunch around here) to go and work on the car. However, I plan to do some tinkering this Saturday. Tyson and I have discussed running the SC oil tank for now, a bit easier and cheaper at this point. Pretty soon you will be asking for pictures, then I'll really be in trouble!!

The Chef 07-12-2004 07:46 PM

Your right! I want pics! Thanks for being the voice of reason on my project today. I will be there on saturday to help you out with your car. Maybe we can get you ready for German Auto Fest as well.

The Chef 08-13-2004 11:34 PM

I was looking at my progress with the car and thought I should bump this thread. If anyone cares!

All I have to say is:eek: Beautiful old school raw german cars, ESPECIALLY 911's are a beautiful thing, especially when they are as well kept as you guys keep them. *thumbs up*

The Chef 09-14-2005 07:34 PM

Thanks man. Shes come along way from that point. Now I decided to change motors and put a 3.2.

mjshira 09-14-2005 07:35 PM

hmmmmmmmmmm wonder why you decided for a 3.2???

DByers 09-14-2005 07:36 PM

Ummmm, where are the update pics?

The Chef 09-14-2005 07:45 PM

She is apart again so I can make room for the wire harness and relocation of the fuel pump. The only new thing is the 3.2 logo, TRE repro ST rollbar, Headliner(took me a month), and a few other things. I dont think that there is a part that didnt come off to be cleaned and polished or replaced if bad. All I ever wanted to do was a paint job. I guess that what happens when you get the sickness. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
