Smile In Color!

Here's what I found at Damon's tonight, we get a little closer everyday. I'm pumped now.

Are the front quarters still attached? I'm planning mine for next year (or plus 2 depending on finances) and was wondering if you had them pull the fronts or not. I see that they pulled the bumpers and doors. The paint looks excellent. You have got to be psyched.

Color...venetian blue? We had some discussion, I'm not positive.

Front fenders loosened but not removed. Damon just pulled rubber seals up by the winshield line. We pulled bumpers because we are back dating.

Excellent idea. Thanks for the tip.

As for the color, I think it's going to be awesome. What color did you do the targa bar in since you are backdating.

I'm interested in seeing what the final product looks like.

Looks great!

Something I was surprised to find was that 911s were painted at the factory with the fenders in place. If you pull them, you'll find there is no paint - just bare metal - in the seam. Which explains why the tend to rust there. Water gets trapped under the hood seal, sits and rusts.

TRE....Damon at Series 900 has done all the fab and paint work. Cost , unknown at this point. That's the part I CAN wait for.

Hopefully, Damon will chime in here....
