This might be the extra solvent for your windshield. MY 89 25th had this too , i think it was in the same position.

Might be a kill switch or alarm added by the PO?

I like the passenger ejector theory... I'll test it out tomorrow on my wife hehe

Mute button for the "back-seat driver" on the passenger side?

Does it disable the ignition or cause the car to shut down?

Unknown switch
I have one exactly like that. And I added it: it's a front oil cooler fan switch.

Well, I really don't think it will ignite anything, so go ahead and switch it ON (or OFF), then tell us what happens. Don't you have to give US some clues? Sherwood PS: A search in the archives might give you some clues. |
Problem solved !! Thanks Sherwood, I did just what you said and it IS the front oil cooler. I could hear the fan before I turned it over and it would stop when I flipped the switch. Thanks to all for the comments. Jer

JerDe,
Not at all. In compensation, you can give me a ride in your 930. I can man the switch. Sherwood |
