Interesting data point; yesterday an avid enthusiast emailed us and said the OEM seals are too thick at the base. Is it possible that they're supposed to be highly compressed for good sealing?

We would have used OEM seal dimensions when we developed our seals. What experience have others had with the OEM vent window seals?

Just wanted to add that I emailed URO recently with the seal problem of my vent and pop out windows and they responded almost instantly. They researched my order history from pelican and were super helpful and responsible. In my case the seals weren't URO but another company. These guys have amazing customer service.

An update
URO sent me new vent seals ANYWAY!! Even though I didn't purchase my faulty set from them. The overly thick non fitting set was actually a OEM brand set (which the guys at URO researched and found out for me. AMAZING - I am a total fangirl of URO now.

They look like a much better size match and if it doesn't rain I will install them today.
Full report to follow
