Wish I could go, but I have a bad vibration from my steering wheel and the wrench can not get to it until Tuesday.

Enjoy the drive, and will see you next time.

I'm not sure if I can make it... but I know I'll be flogging something in the next few days... either my super duper 911 or this smokin' hot brunette I've been courting...

Or both I suppose...

endorphines will be at unrealistic levels over the next 72 hours...

Both would be good - do your best to make it. Remember you have a passenger seat.

Is this information still correct?

Start Location:

King Ranch Market
Address: 150 W 9th St, Azusa, CA 91702
Phone: (626) 969-1838
Opens at 6am

We will meet in the parking lot at around 7am. We will leave the market at around 7:30am so there is an extra ½ hour in case you are running late. We will stop for photo shoots along the way and allow time for stragglers to keep up (shouldn’t be too hard in a Porsche.) I will pick up some name tags so you can identify yourself with your real name and your Pelican call sign.

All except the $3.10. Gas prices have dropped this week a little.

Sam, you going to make it? Looks like we dump out in Claremont so I was thinking Walters. You have an alternative? I'm a little worried about time though, as Calvin has an 11am Karate class...

I should be able to make it, I'm just not sure if the porsche is up for it, I still have a few issues to work out with it and I haven't had any time to work on them since we were at the track, so I might bring the M.

the baldy lodge has pretty good food and it's right there at the end of the run but if for some reason they were backed up there's a place down on foothill called the home kitchen that has a great breakfast.

Walter's has good food but parking in the village is always bad and I've waited an hour to get breakfast at walter's on a Saturday morning sometimes.

That was my worry about Walters...I figured it might be a zoo. The other ones sound fine by me.

I'm dropping out. Tough week, no time to prepare the car (had some serious tire balance issues from last time), and the remodeling of the house is a week behind and needs me to do some work.

That's it for me. The remodel gets finished in another week and then the car gets totally stripped of its suspension and drive train and gets new longitudinals and front suspension pan. Then all the goodies I have bought over the last 3 months get installed.

See you all on the roads later this year, like at the AutoFest in Ventura (my projected time frame for completion).

Sorry to hear that, Milt.

Trivial fact: I just figured out that since I owned it, my car has never, ever been vacuumed.

(Okay, it was an excuse to bump the thread.)

Hopefully passengers have washed their underwear during that time period...

I picked up a couple pieces of lint last time I was in there... Does that count?

Sorry, gents... Can't make it this weekend, though I wish I could. The 911 is up for it, but I have to help finish some stuff for Jared's 914-6 suspension and I have an '86 GTI 16V that I'm buying that morning.

Have fun and stay safe!

Ok no more flaking out, this is getting out of hand and besides 7:30 is not that early. You can get your beauty rest after the run, don't think about you, think about your car.
