Which color should I paint my Fuchs?

Just got me a set of 16x6 Fuchs for my light ivory narrow body from -70. The car is a “hotrod” so no need to stay stock and since, in my opinion, the 16x6 is probably the ugliest Fuchs considering the lip, I’m thinking the RSR pattern would not look right. Rather I’m thinking a solid color on the entire rim would look better.

I already have 4 deep 15x6 in solid black (to eventually be redone in RSR design) and a set of gold cookies.

What color do you guys suggest? Any pics you can share?

Johan

I might possibly, just maybe be a bit prejudice, but body color on a lighter car is perfect.

How about just the little bit of black around the lug nut area like the first 4.5' Fuchs seen on the 67 911? Also there was a beige IROC car that of course had the RSR finish wheels, so you can kinda see what that would look like.

Black centers on my Chiffon White. 16x6's on mine. In a 70 you should be able to run 16x7 rears. Tire options are limited on the 6's.

What are those calipers?

Any plans for livery/stripes? Color match/contrast with those colors. Or are you just going with those little black stripes on your bumpers? The gold on the Cookies looks nice.

The last picture is with the 15x7s I had. They looked great and fit well on 3 out of 4 corners. On the rear right it rubs the unfortunately. The lip has been rolled and that is not enough

930 calipers on all 4 corners. Overkill maybe, but I love the way they look and how they feel on track

I have Bob Tiltons Porsche side stripes in black and may put them on

The cookies came out great I think, very happy with them. Takes some juggling with the wheel weights due to the brakes

I’d be interested to see something between bronze and dark brown, satin metallic finish. Maybe a little stripe on the lip in either body color or a third accent color.
