Cabriolet Boot Snap Needed

The female end (on the boot itself), that connects to the male snap just behind the door, recently broke off my cabriolet boot. Went to my local seamstress who had a replacement but it's too weak -- unsnaps at speed. Methinks it's a heavy duty snap given the location, she doesn't know where to get one.

Any help?

Are you referring to the tenax female snap on the boot? Do a search using "tenax" from our host. It will have a diagram of both the cover and stud. They are sold each or by the pair.

Nope, not the tenax snap -- the "regular" style snap (near seatbelt mount behind door).

I bought a cover from World Uphulstery and it included the hardware and tools for the tenax and generic snap.

May want to try them assuming Pelican does not carry them.

Try a good hardware store. Not home depo*, they suck.
