TDC mark and timing
I did a search and could not find one with my problem -- I have a number of marks on pulley I believe six. Of which 4 a relatively close to each other (I gues 20 degrees) the two marks two the left are blue and red and the two marks to the right are both yellow.
Which one is TDC -- I timed it to the marks on left it is idleing kind of rough. I tried the markd to the right and the idle sped up?? This is right after a rebuild Thanks

Z1 is TDC. Next to it on the right is BTDC. If it's your 3.0, that's marked 5 for 5 degrees BTDC. Time it to that mark with the vac hoses off.

I believe the 3.0 engines used the same pulley as 2.4s and 2.7s, complete with leftover MFI mark 'FE' for setting injection pump timing! The complete set of marks are -- 'FE' [40° ATDC], 5° ATDC, Z1 [TDC], 30° BTDC, 35° BTDC, Z2, Z3 ...
Check and see if the following marks aren't what you see??? ![]()

Thats exactly how it looks -- Thanks for the huge help. By the way -- I finally have the car running. Once I adjust the clutch, I'm off
