I've read a couple times that "Restore" was the only worthy "restoring engine life" product. In tests it has increased compression, I don't remember exactly what other "benefits" the results yeilded. That said, I'm not putting it in any of my vehicles.

I once used wynns piston seal on an old austin allegro !
It was like the batmobile smokescreen coming from the exhaust !!
I had to remove the plugs every 10 miles cus they got all gunked up.
I reckon all the "additive just burnt off" and made no difference to the cars performance.
If this stuff is similar to wynns-stay well clear.

Lets face it. Correct parts are "WAY" expensive. Then you add in the cost from a good machine shop. If you don't DYA...You pay for a mechanic to do the tear down and re-build.......Just spent the cost of a brand new KIA.............Welcome to the cost of a "911" engine rebuild.

My girlfriend bought it for our old worn out Chevy 1/2 ton with a worn out 4.3 V6. It was going through about a quart of oil every 200 miles, it seemed to make a difference for about 100 miles.

When the oil consumption got up to 1 quatr per 100 miles, I finally overhauled it. Since last Sunday (when I finished), I've put about 400 miles on it and it doesn't compare to the day or so of performance we got from the Restore (now it actually has power and doesn't burn oil).
