I've looked at all of the ultimate 'poser' threads and can't seem to come to a concensus on where my mirrors are supposed to be. Currently, my passenger mirror is further back that the driver's mirror. How far back from the front of the door should the mirrors be on a 77 coupe?

Hi there uncle B. I put a flag mirror on the passenger side of my 1977 911 using the following diagram.
![]() The little "dots" that appear where the window trim is are mounting pins for the trim and can be used as starting positions for measurement. Just use a thin feeler gauge to determine where they are by sliding it under the window trim. And yes, the passenger side mirror sits further back that the drives side. Thanks Jay.
My passenger door appears to have had the mirror moved. Gotta love multiple owner cars... but the price was right.

The mirrors are not symmetrical on these cars. Yours are correct.
