Porsche Crest Alternate fuel pump question

I bought an alternate fuel pump online and need to find the correct electrical connectors to fit this pump.

Is this some new Chinese or Japanese standard electrical connector that the local NAPA or Flaps does not know about? Ready to test this pump but want the proper connectors to finish the job.

Len

That looks like a would take a simple female round spade to plug into the round male?
Not sure what the threads are for on the plastic?
You sure that the red and blue plastic don't simply screw out?

They appear to be glued or bonded in place. It looks like the connector screws down over the male terminal to make contact.

So it appears these connectors are for older Audis. Here's what the harness looks like with the female connectors. If you could find an Audi fuel pump harness for late 80s and early 90s models you may be able to use them.

Otherwise, you may need to remove them and just use the standard threads and a circle clip connector and a rubber boot.

I actually like these Audi connectors and wish there was a source for them. I'd use them! :-)

This Pelican Board ROCKS!!! Thank you Gentlemen & Ladies.

The pump is from mpgautoparts dot com. I think it was $60 and appears to have the right flow for most efi vehicles. Cheap enough to give it a try.

Now to find these connectors at Audi.

The Audi style connector will not be as reliable and tight as the stock threaded stud. I'm sure you'll be OK with the Audi connector but I think the stock threaded stud is simply better.

A clever aspect of Porsche's wiring system on the fuel pump is the diameter difference between the positive and negative posts. Because the ring connectors on the wires are also different sizes, you can't really get polarity reversed. These look like you could, despite the nice color coding, get things hooked up backward. A small matter, of course - it is certainly well marked.
