Another RS project. MINE! Part 3

I just got my Elephant racing Front and rear sway bars in the mail today. I read the instructions and put them on. I have a date with a pretty young thing so i'll make it short and sweet. Here is what it looks like. Tommorrow I will tackle the rear monoball also from elephant racing. Thanks for the decals Chuck! Enjoy the pics!

you're gonna make the date short & sweet?? Makes sense - that will give you more time to work on the carr and troll the net...

Joseph,

I don't know you, but you appear to be quite the man! I only hope my 2.8 RSR replica comes out half as well as your project appears to be.

Very nice.

Randy,
Thats what im saying but every once in a while I gotta do it. Just makes working on the car that more enjoyable.

James,
I reread what I said and yeh, you can take it all over the place.

Tricky,
Thanks! Im no expert. I just did the homework and asked alot of questions. I do mention them alot because they are my friends, but TRE Motorstopt will have most of the parts for the conversion. They can also answer alot of your questions. This board has also been priceless on the amount of info that I have learned. Good luck and I would love to see some pics!

Chris,
Thanks. At least it will look good for the first track day. Our local dessert tracks destroy undercarriages.

The only update i have is the name of my car. I have been dating a school teacher who has asked why my car is named toad. I said because it is green like a toad. She told me that there is no such thing as a green toad. Toads are brown. What a buzz kill. Anyway, I think the name stays! Regardless of what Ms. School teacher says.

Anyway, I will try and finish assembling more of the car when I get a chance.I really need Tyson Schmidt from TRE to help me with some of the rear suspension stuff. He is in the process of buiding a short strock 2.5 for the new car and doesn't have the time to help me with the toad. I dont have the experience with some of the shortcuts on rear assembly stuff. I also dont have things like a vice or a torch which I need for the rear monoballs.

Hopefully, she will be ready by September11,12 for the German Auto Fest.

I will be sporting NYFD decals if you have forgotten what 9/11 really stands for. BTW, My stepdad was(retired) Luitenant Fire Marshall of NYC.

The Sonoran Green Toad ( bufo retiformis) is alive and well living between New Mexico and Sonora Mexico. It can be deadly if provoked! A shy night dweller that really shows its stuff during the mating season.

I say "The Toad" stays!!!

Wow, those pictures show some impressive detail. Are you sure you aren't going for concours? And did the school teacher smack your hand with a wooden ruler upon improper naming of the car? If so, bonus

Thanks Rob,
I only want to do it once so I am making sure it looks good. I know that it will look different after a couple of track days but thats why I built the car.
