I'm not sure what's correct, but if your trying to get rusted or rounded off bolts/nuts off, buy the Sears "Bolt out" sockets as advertised by Bob Veila on TV, they are sockets with internal biting teeth and they really work well to take off round nuts and bolts. Any Sears carries them

				Does this look bad???

I getting ready to replace the aging exhaust system on my '77 911. So I crawl under there today to take some measurements in order to buy the SSIs (thin or thick), gaskets, spray PB on the rusted bolts, etc. I then discovered that not one but two of the exhaust bolts are...bolts going into flange. What do I need to prepare myself for when removing these bolts and shouldn't there be studs with nuts like the others? Thanks, Dean | ||
