C2 Dash in 82 SC
I spent the last weekend installing a C2 Dash in my 82SC Coupe.
Thanks for the advice I got from several on the forum. Perhaps what I did differently though is, that because of the cold winters in Iowa I modified the defroster vents so they were more effective with the C2 defroster defuser. Essentially I cut out my defroster ducts and moved them back about 4". I used a metal saw to cut out the vents and then removed enough metal to move them back. Then I fiberglassed the vents into the new location. They function great. The real test wil come this winter. The windshield broke while putting it in. Also, found that you have to put the windshield in after the glass or you can't "rope" the windshield in. Got a new windshield though, with "tint" at top of glass for $125...installed. Excellent! Of course, you realize this post is worthless without pics!
Seriously, would love to see how it turned out!

Sorry, I don't have a digital camera. But hope to get one and learn to post pictures.

That's a great price for the windshield.
Here's a picture of a leather 964 dash in an early car. Some sheet metal work was required to make the new ducts functional, and also to make the defrost work well.
