Will 81 CIS "brain" work in an 83 SC?
Hi folks:
Needs some advice here. I purchased a used 83 3.0 motor from Jerry Woods to put into my SC roller. Neither the roller nor the engine came with a K Jetronic brain. In my course of searching for one, I found a brain from an 81. Does anyone know if that brain will work with the 83 engine? thanks all,

It is my understanding that the Lambda computer is identical for 1981-83 model years whereas the 1980 model is a different beast - you should be fine with the 1981 brain. Will someone give a second opinion to confirm?
