1/4 window tracing ...
Does anyone have a 1/4 window out of their car right now? '74-88 for sure - ealier is OK if you know they are the same.
I'd appreciate it very much if someone could lay it down on a large enough piece (or taped pieces) of paper/thin cardboard and trace the outline. Fold er up and send it to me snail mail. PM me if you can help. I'll compensate if required ... Thanks ![]()

HMM making lexan? I would suggest that you pull your own glass. I did this so that I could also match the curve, ever so slight.
Lay the lexan on a pillow, cover with the glass, push down so they are tight together, then trace with sharp scribe. This will give you a tight fit in the seals that don't leak air. otherwise they get noisey. PM me an address if you still need a template. I have my glass in a box. Oh yeah, front or rear quarter windows? (door or rear? )

I didn't get the quarter glass with my project - hence the need for a template and I'll be cutting lexan.
Rear quarters ... not the door. Thanks ...

lexan secrets
I have been plotting making the lexan windows also. Making the shape seems pretty straight forward but I have not been able to find a way to make the louvers(sp?). Do you need a mold or form to shabe those over, maybe with heat? thanks

Bill, You don't need louvers unless you want them. You can substitute the aircraft style vents if needed. Otherwise just pop open your quarters. That's right, you later cars don't enjoy such luxuries.
