Removing Shifter Trouble
Well I was going to change my bushings and coupler today but am unable to remove the shifter. All the 5 bolts are really torqued. Front 2 came out with a lot of effort. Got to one of the smaller in the back and it pretty much just stripped. I'm sure I had to be using the right size allen wrench. Any ideas how to remove a stripped allen bolt?

Well all the big bolts are removed, but I think both the smaller are stripped. If I just drill the heads off will I just have to replace the shift rod bushing bracket?

Use a dremel to cut a slot in the top, then use an impact driver on em!
Cheers, Tim.

I stripped one of mine when I removed my shifter for the same purpose. I found replacements at home depot.
