I finally got the bugs ( and rags) out of my car turbo, spools up nice now that the rags have been removed from it's splines. I threw on a plate and hit my local back road I can't believe the juice this thing has! I let it cool down for a few minutes before shutting it off.I did notice that it smoked a little when getting on it and when idling on cool down. It never has smoked before but then I never got on it before. I think it's just full of junk and running hard finaly is getting the junk out but I am curious what would make it smoke ? Any thoughts? Also this car has a 5 speed transmission how can I tell what year the motor and transmission are.

Congrats on fixing the problem
