I tried it ( gull-a-bull) and no difference...

This time I'll take a before and after picture and you decide.

Why don't you try it, and post your results, preferably with pics? From all the "info" here, you've got nothing to lose....

I think you need Crisco for cookies.
:)

well, i don't want to just go buy a tub of vaseline, claiming that i'm "polishing my wheels," if i don't know if it will work... but hey, it's worth a try

Yes. It works on just about every wheel - I used to put it on my Cup II's once every six months or so and it worked like a charm - kept them looking factory new.

Im with the others - dunno why it works, but it does.

Does this work on Polished too? Or just factory finish Fuchs?

Thanks.

Anybody happen to think the general act of applying a medium, be it vaseline, vegetable oil, crisco, shortening, etc. and then "polishing" it off is going to approve the original appearance, at least for a brief time?? Maybe it justs me.

I don't think you were gullible for trying such a cheap solution. too bad it didn't work out for you-I'm surprised. What's wrong with your wheels? are they polished or anodized? I won't insult you by saying you did it wrong-it's too easy and simple. My wheels still look good after a month. Even if the marks reappear soon, it bought me some time. I'll just re-apply and be good for another month or two.
