Did you get anywhere testing the sensors. Have you had a similar problem to me. I have a 1988 3.2 carrera. Just recently the problem I have encountered is this. Starts from cold OK runs for 5 mins stationery at high revs then misfires and cuts out. Then won't start again for about an hour although turns over on starter. Makes no difference if alarm if activated or not. I have by passed tested DME relay to test fuel pump this runs OK. I have tested DME ( albeit cold ) relays open and close OK.
When the car runs its perfectly normal, no misfiring plenty of power. It's almost like something is getting up to temperature and then going open circuit. Has anyone any ideas???

Garage
A small diameter vacuum line runs from a port on the back of the throttle body to the top of a (sort of flying saucer shaped) air valve.
Nothing is holding it on but the "miracle of friction" so perhaps it got pulled (or blown) off.
