1986 911 Question, Please help

Hello all! I have another question regarding my new baby! I posted before but no one responded. My passenger seat seems to not want to stay up in the upright position. if you pull the seat back up with your hand and push the button that controls the power recline, it will catch and stay up, but if you push the button back toward the back to recline it reaches a point where the gear or whatever lets go and it falls back. Does anyone know if "Pelican Parts" sells a kit to fix this?

My '87 behaves in a somewhat similar manner. After having tipped the seat forward, sometimes I have to knock it back once or twice to get the holding mechanism to catch.

Bit of a PIA, but now that I am aware of it - I usually just lift up (or pull down - whichever it is) on the lever while tipping the seat back and release the lever when the seat is in position. It seems to catch every time if I do this.

I'm sure this minor irritation can be cured with a little lubrication - I just haven't bothered to investigate it any further. I doubt new parts/kit are required.
