Not really a data logger in the sense of having general purpose, customizable inputs from many sources.

The Geez product is strictly software ... originally designed to use data from Mike Valentine's G-Analyst, circa 1986 ... a two-axis accelerometer and crude display with limited storage, but available with a PC serial interface & cable. The software with the PC interface was pretty crude, DOS-only, and never updated for Windows ... hence the need for better data display and analysis was fulfilled by the Extreme-Gs folks.

After the G-Analyst was discontinued mid-90s ... the G-Cube accelerometer sensor box was created and bundled with the Geez software as a $395 Racers Package. Data file format is the same as the G-Analyst, and not alterable.

That's it, Warren! You know to damn much! circa 1986...what recess of your brain did that come from..

OK. So the software and G-cube should be a good tool, yes?

I have a good friend that is developing a product to compete directly with the DL90, and is scheduled for release in the next month or two. Send me a PM if you would like his contact information.

Souk,

Patrick Bedard wrote a book about using the G-Analyst back in the '80s, and copies may be available from time to time on eBay or from Amazon.com.

Undoudtedly, the ExtremeGs package would be useful, but being only a 2-axis accelerometer sensor ... it has some serious limitations on accuracy.

Now that the Tesla Electronics folks have gotten serious about documentation and the PC software for displaying results ... the new G-Tech Pro/RR [replaced the G-Tech Pro/Competition Model] may be a better value, at $249 from our host. It has a 3-axis accelerometer sensor package.

You may want to take a look at some of the documents available:
