Help - wiring newer wiper motor into an early car

I have bought a wiper motor and assembly from a newer car (1989 - with intermittent wipers). I understand it can be wired into an early car (no intermittent wiper) with some simple "re-wiring"

Has anyone done this that can offer a sort of "how to".

I think there is a tech article on moving the wiper parking spot from driver to passenger side. Or maybe it's in Wayne's 101 Projects book. It may have some helpful info on wiring. There are also threads on malfunctions in the intermittent feature which may help.
