Jerry St. Germaine -FIRST CLASS ACT
On March 2 of this year I made a purchase on line from Euro East (Jerry St. Germaine). I bought a 911 Front A-arm.
It arrived in good order, well packed great condition, etc. I hung it on the wall for an upcoming replacement. Well, the replacement process dragged on and on and on (as they sometimes do). I finally went to replace the arm earlier this month when I noticed that the new arm was missing the forward splined end (my guess is it was from an early E with the comfort suspension package. No torsion bars). So I sent an email to Euro East and explained the situation (not really expecting a reply given the time lapse). The response: "send it back and I will refund you your money" So I did and as promised a full refund (including the original shipping costs) was immediately credited to my Paypal account. I just wanted to say a big "THANKS" to Euro East for the service I received (after all, it was 6 months after the original purchase. They could have told me to stuff it). It wasn't a big deal money wise but it is a big deal to receive the service I got. I sure hope to do business with this "First Class Act" again. Last edited by poorsha; 09-30-2004 at 08:41 PM.. |

I live about an hour from Jerry's shop and have dealt with him a couple of times. Jerry's a great guy and definitely a straight shooter, I do highly recommend him. It's nice to see others echoing my experience with him!

I had to redo the title to include his name.
Should have done it at the beginning.

Some people just know how to run a business. The "loss" to Euro East, if any, will more than be made up for by your repeat business now that you know they are stand up guys. Also, word of mouth in this community is a big thing. A satisfied customer is great advertising. This is a very refreshing story in light of the numerous horror stories that we all read about on this and other boards. So did you at least order the correct parts from them?

Mike.
As luck would have it (for me), I was explaining my dilema to a fellow Pnut. He had one and the rest is history (I was in a bit of a panic as I had a car half apart and needed to get it together ASAP). I will definately be in contact with Euro East very soon as I am in need of a whole bunch of stuff for my own 74.
