I just discovered some hack job the prior owner did yay, the prior owner hammered the header to make a very slight clearance for the oil line... how risky is this situation? What is the correct oil line for this application? Am I correct this needs to be addressed immediately

OMG,thats not too flash, you can see how hot the return pipe has been getting close to the exhaust, best solution is to get the bend shortened away from the header pipe, any good welder with a tig could do it but make sure you clean the pipe internally after welding.
You may need to reshape the pipe to get you back to your mounting support clamp, not really a hassle as the pipe is soft anyway.

![]() ![]() If you want to keep this header for performance reasons, you need the early cross-under pipe as described above. It is PN 911.107.739.10 and available from our host. Of course, then you need the connecting hose to the thermostat or tank. If you want used, they are readily available from many Pelicans including myself. To save this expense I can modify your stock hardline to clear as I have done for others. I often make up custom fittings & lines such as these.......... ![]() ![]() for similar needs.
