Help! Heater Switch Doesn't Work

I need the wiring diagram for a 1987 911 that shows where the resistor is for the heater control switch that sits between the seats. Its the three position switch that controls the footwell blowers. The resistor must be bad cause I can hot wire the blowers and they work and the switch is ok so somewhere between the switch and the blowers I assume there is a resistor and it must not be working. Thanks

that resistor is behind the glove box. If you open the hood, and look under the dash on the passenger's side you should be able to see it. If memory serves it's about 2-3" long and 1/4-1/2" thick and is arranged horizontally.

Thanks masraum. I'd have never guessed it would be there.
