Sluggish for 60 seconds on start-up?

When I first start up my car in the A.M., the car is sluggish when trying to accelerate. It idle's fine and after 60 seconds, it's full power. Ambient temperature is approximately 45 degrees.

Just can't understand why it would be sluggish.

Thoughts?

If the base CO is too rich combined with the rich start up mixture could result in sluggish performance until the warmup regulator backs off the added rich mixture.

Try leaning it a bit to get your cold running performance back again.

Cheers,

Thank you. That was my assumption that it was a mixture problem (to rich).
