I had a friend lay out a PCB for me, but I have to change it to use replaceable relays (sockets and Bosch micro relays). I am still waiting for changes to be made. I will definitely update you guys as soon as possible. The timetable for a finished product is minimum 7-9 weeks, because the PCB order will take 4 weeks (the delay lowers the PCB price to a reasonable pricepoint).

My plan is to offer the kit to Pelican members at cost, so I can generate feedback for a possible redesign or improvements.
Jurgen

Question for you relay experts..since I have a few empty relay postions on the fuse panel of my 78 SC I was wondering if there was a large enough factory style relay that could be used for the headlight upgrade rather then bolt on types?
Thanks, Ron

Ron - yes, it will be a neat install, but might be more trouble.

I would like to see a kit that replaces the crappy fuse holders with modern fuses, and incorporates headlight realys as well. The early cars (up to '73) are most in need of this as the fuse panels are hard to get to and older (hence more corroded).

you can buy the stock round relay sockets for the panel. Not cheap. You would buy at least 2.. they should be 30amps ea

I've been searching for a 30 circuit CB panel.. or a way of fabricating it. When I really get serious about it I'll probably start with aircraft or marine mfg.

Jergen,
Please let me know if you have any of your kits available, and if so how much they cost and if they have detailed installation instructions. I would be interested in one with 4 relays.
Thanks
Tim
