89 C4 questions

Gentlemen,
This is a post that will stir up some controvery so flame away.
I am considering the purchase of a 89 C4. I know the issues the leaking cylinders on these cars, how big of a deal is this really. Is it just a nuisance issue or a real problem? The car is presently being inspected and one the cylinders shows this issue. The compression is from 180-205, is this OK. The rest of the car sounds very nice, it is a low mileage car and very reasonably priced.
Thanks for the input,
Phil

Oil spots are a nuisance - oil puddles are a problem ... depends on how bad the leak is. Compression sounds OK - 10% spread from the highest.

The only controversy I see is that you're considering a C4 in Arizona ... when you were back in MI I could understand

I actually found a local low mileage '90 C4 that I'll probably pick up in the spring ... already tucked away for the winter.

Do you plan on using it for a daily driver?

Car ended up having all the classic issues with early C4's heads that were starting to leak and is going to need a clutch/flywheel soon. I think I stick with the early cars for fun and my S6 as a daily driver. How much for this local low mileage car.
