ABS... We don't need no stinking ABS...

Yes, I did flat-spot the tires. Anybody need a set of low mileage Yokos?

well, the upside is that you now don't have to use the park brake to keep your car from rolling away.

Ouch. Tires are consumables -- but it hurts to see them get consumed that fast.

Last weekend, I shot this video clip (Quicktime 1.3 megs) of momentary lock-up.

Hey Jack. I have a small ricer auto X foreign clip that's something to see. He goes to a cone and does a 360++ around it before heading to the next cone a few times. It's hysterical. I got it thru e-mail and could send it to you to Maybe do something with it around here. I have your address somewhere.. whatever.

Was this every-two-year TUV testing you needed to do ??

This was at Leipzig for the Porsche Driving Experience. They had us do a turning emergency stop exercise to emphasize the importance of ABS (i.e. if your car doesn't have it you need to buy a new Porsche). But, our instructor Fritz, standing in the photo, didn't make himself clear exactly what he wanted us to do, so it took a few of us to screw it up before everyone got the picture. I was the first to go, so I was first to screw it up.

He kept saying: "Vat aayou dooing?"
