Looks like a helluva car, but those wheels look like they are off of a late model mustang.

They had it up for sale at the German Autofest. Mechanically, it looked like very nice work. The wheels don't look any better in person than they do in the pictures, to my eyes. (But wheels are easy to change.)

Kinda sparkly paint color for my taste, but looks like a fast ride

i took a few pics of it at GAF. Strange why it is referred to as a '68, but appears to be a LWB in this picture, based on the location of the torsion bar holes.

as for the wheels, I actually think they work; kind of a throw- back to the old American Racing wheels that were fitted to some early 911 racers, but with a modern large rim diameter/low tire profile appearance. The dark gray-tone adds some subtlety, as i think an all silver or all polished finish would be too much, and make the wheels appear way too big. just my opinion.
Regardless of actual wheelbase or wheel choice.... i would like to be handed the keys to it for a few hours

Maybe it's one of those rare 68 LWB cars, wasn't there a thread on this recently? I can't seem to find it.
