Another Fuchs Color Poll
Now that my Fuchs are with Harvey Weidman for repairs and refinishing, I've got to figure out what to do on color and finish.
Car in question is 85 turbo look cab in white gold (kind of like platinum). Below is picture with color coded centers. I'm leaning toward keeping it the same with re-anodized finish (not polished). The loaners are black and look ok. What's everything think? Keep it? Change it? Photoshop efforts welcomed and appreciated. ![]() |

That's a beautiful color, personally I would leave them it has very classy look. J.P. Ps I had that color on my black coupe a few years ago, got many compliments. |

Your choice on the wheels sounds good to me too.
![]() Sounds like Harvey got you back on the road in good order. |

Yep, Harvey hooked me up. Great guy. Made it back to Park City just prior to a snow dump.
Car drove great, but it looks like there is damage to the front right strut from the impact to the wheel. Wheel camber is way off (car sits too low, wheel angled into the top of the fender). The top of the strut mount in the trunk has cracks in the top of that black putty stuff (don't know what it's called). I'll get it checked out this week.

Keep the wheel color to match the body color. On this color car IMO they look great. I've thought of changing mine to match but the car is red Targa and it would look flashy. Again IMO.

OK, maybe a little out there but I am an art student so bear with me. How about color coded spokes with natural backing and black colored lips where the rim folds over. I have always wondered what black colored lips would look like, most likely make the tyre look bigger but if it was bead blasted and anodozed (quasi RSR) it might come out pretty nicely.

black below the paddles looks classy and makes the tires and car blend. It'll contrast nice with the anizoded bare mag. I never liked the matching car color. different strokes for different folks.
