CD player question
I finally got around to putting a new Clarion radio cd player in my car, even with the tired old speakers it sounds terrific! New speakers as soon as my autoelectrician finds some that fit my car and my budget.
I have opted not to use a stacker as I have one in the mini which is always jamming - combination of bad roads, hard ride and home recorded cds. What I wanted to ask is if anyone has had cd jams with homerecorded cds on single players. I've seen on my mini's stacker that when there's a jam it's always a cd I've copied myself and these seem thinner than originals. With the cost of original cds I'm reluctant to use them in the car. Thanks - Isa

Isa- You should have no problem with the cd-r's. i have not bought a "original" cd in years, all my music is downloaded from napster and i never have a problem. i use memorex brand.

I have been in the Car audio business for a long time, The CD-R's would give some problems in older CD changers ( skipping , not playing , jamming). For the past year or so I have not seen these problems any more. I think there was a problem with this but it has been corrected.
